⁂ Structure: Sub + asked + obj + if/ WH question + subject + V + extension.

Direct: She  said to her mother, “will you go to school ?”

Indirect: She asked her mother if she would go to school.

Direct: She told to me, “what have you done ?”

Indirect: She asked me what I had done.
